What Cape Cellular costs
Cape Cellular lists its plan at $99 a month, taxes and fees included. Everyone who joins before December 31, 2026 pays $70 a month for life, and a referral code at sign-up takes that to $50.
Every price, step by step
Each step is Cape's own number. Referral credits come off the early adopter price, $20 each, and they stop at $0: Cape never pays out past a free bill.

Skip the code at sign-up and it takes four people instead of three. That is what Cape means when it says four referrals make the plan free: four $20 credits cover $70. Get a Cape Cellular referral code before you sign up and you start one step down.

The referral code alone is worth $240 a year, and it keeps coming off for as long as you stay with Cape.
What the price includes
- Unlimited talk and text in the US.
- Unlimited 5G and 4G data. Cape says that after 50GB of use it may slow your data to 256 kbps for a while.
- Mobile hotspot. Cape says hotspot speed may slow after 30GB.
- Taxes and fees. Already in the price: Cape promises no surprise fees.
- Roaming abroad: 5GB of data a month in more than 50 countries, sent back through Cape's own network.
- Two extra phone numbers for texting (Cape calls them Secondary Numbers).
- No contract. Cancel any time.
Deals that cut your first months
None of these needs a code.
- Contract buyout: stuck in a contract with your old carrier? Cape takes 60% off your first 7 months, up to $300, once your number has moved to Cape. VoIP numbers like Google Voice don't count.
- A new Pixel: buy a Google Pixel from Cape's shop and get 60% off your first year of Cape, up to $500. For $50 more, Cape installs GrapheneOS on it.
- Proton for $1: Proton Unlimited or Proton VPN Plus for $1 for 6 months, if you're new to paid Proton. Then it renews for 12 months at Proton's full price unless you cancel. That's Proton's bill, not Cape's.
Cape's pages don't say how the buyout or the Pixel discount combines with referral credits in the same month. Ask Cape before you count on both.
After December 31, 2026
Cape says $70 is the price "for life" for everyone who joins before December 31, 2026. Join after that and you pay whatever Cape charges new subscribers then; its list price today is $99. A referral code takes $20 off either way. This page will change when Cape says what comes next.
When credits stop
- If someone who used your code cancels, the $20 they gave you stops. It starts again if they come back.
- If the person whose code you used cancels, you keep your $20.
- Once your bill reaches $0, Cape gives no more credits and no cash for extra referrals.
