Questions people ask

What is a Cape Cellular referral code?

Every Cape subscriber has a personal referral code. Enter one when you sign up and you and the person who shared it each get $20 off your bill, every month. Cape calls it Give $20, Get $20.

Is Cape Mobile the same as Cape Cellular?

Yes. It's one phone carrier, Cape, at cape.co. Its own site just says Cape, its X, Instagram and Reddit accounts go by Cape Cellular, and its Facebook page is called Cape Mobile. Some people call it Cape Wireless. A Cape Mobile, Cape Wireless or Cape Cellular referral code is the same thing.

How do I get a Cape referral code?

Press "Deal me a code!" on cape.monster and the monster deals you one, free. Or ask anyone on Cape: every subscriber has a code, and Cape tells them to share it with family, friends, neighbors, even strangers online.

Is there a Cape Cellular promo code or coupon code?

Cape says its $70 a month early adopter price needs no promo code: it applies by itself if you join before December 31, 2026. The contract buyout is an offer you opt into on Cape's site, and the Proton deal is redeemed in the Cape app. The code that takes money off when you sign up is a referral code: another $20 off, every month. So if you're hunting for a Cape promo code or discount code, a referral code is the one you want.

How much is Cape with a referral code?

Cape lists its plan at $99 a month, with taxes and fees included. People who join before December 31, 2026 pay $70 a month for life as early adopters, and Cape says a referral code stacks on top, so you'd pay $50 a month.

Where do I enter my Cape referral code?

When you sign up at cape.co. The "Sign up with this code" button opens Cape's sign-up page and copies the code for you, so you can paste it in when Cape asks for a referral code.

How long does the $20 discount last?

Every month you stay with Cape. Cape says you keep your $20 even if the person whose code you used cancels later. It works the other way too: if someone who used your code cancels, the $20 they gave you stops, and it starts again if they come back.

How do I get my Cape bill down to $0?

Share your own code. Each person who signs up with it takes $20 off your bill, and Cape says four referrals make your plan free: $70 minus four $20 credits. If you used a referral code when you signed up, you already pay $50, so three people do it. Past $0, Cape pays no extra credits. That's what the Monster Pool is for: feed it your code and it deals your code out.

Does Cape have a family plan?

Cape says its family plan is the referral program. Nobody's accounts get linked: each person has their own account and their own code. Sign your family up with your code and each of them pays $20 less, and each one takes $20 off your bill too.

Is there a Cape free trial?

Cape calls it trying Cape risk free: cancel within the first 3 days of your first purchase and you get a full refund. Do that and you can't get the Proton deal anymore.

What phones work with Cape?

Cape works with recent phones that have eSIM, including Google Pixel (GrapheneOS too), Samsung, Motorola, OnePlus and iPhone XR or 11 and newer. Android phones need Android 13 or newer. No phone that works? Cape sells Google Pixels in its shop.

What network does Cape use?

Cape runs its own mobile core and says it has nationwide coverage through partners, including AT&T. Check your address on Cape's coverage map before you switch.

Is it OK to use a stranger's referral code?

Yep. Cape tells subscribers to share their code with family, friends, neighbors, even strangers online. Strangers sharing codes is the whole Monster Pool.

Does a code still work if its owner already pays $0?

Yes. Cape says people can refer as many as they like, and once their bill hits $0 the code still saves the next person $20 a month. On cape.monster, once a code has been copied or taken to Cape a lot, it steps aside so other codes get its turns, until it's fed in again. If a code won't go in, press "Doesn't work?" and the monster deals you another one.

How does the monster pick my code?

Press the button and the monster deals you a code. Codes wait in line. Each time the line goes around, every code in it gets one turn, in a secret shuffled order nobody can game, and new codes join the next go-around. While your code is in line, no other code in line gets more than two turns between two of yours. And from the person who runs the site: I run cape.monster and I'm on Cape too. My own codes come up more often than the others; that's what keeps the site free.

Will my Cape referral code actually get used?

It will get handed out, again and again. It waits its turn in line and never expires. It's only taken out if enough people who got it report it doesn't work, on lots of different networks (the first time, it gets a second chance a week later), or once it's been copied or taken to Cape a lot. Either way, that can't happen before it has been handed out several times. Not at $0 yet? Put it back any time. Whether someone signs up is up to them.

Do codes expire?

No, never: there's no time limit, and nothing gets cleared out every week. A code is only taken out if enough people who got it report that it doesn't work, on lots of different networks (the first time, it comes back a week later for a second chance), or once it's been copied or taken to Cape a lot, so other codes get its turns. Either way, you can put yours back in any time. Enter yours again whenever you like to see how many times it's been handed out since it last went in.

Can someone vote my code out to jump ahead?

Not easily, and not fast. Only people the monster handed your code to can say it doesn't work, each card once, with a quick human check, and a secret anti-cheat formula decides when reports add up. It takes lots of people on lots of different networks: each network counts once (your home internet is one, your phone carrier another), and a whole pile of VPNs counts as one. We keep the formula's numbers secret so cheaters can't aim for them. The monster removes at most one code a day, however many reports come in, and a code voted out the first time comes back a week later for a second chance. Using a code up works on a secret formula too, counting only copies from real people (a quick human check you never see), and its owner can always put it back in.

Can I get a second code for a friend?

Yes. Press "Deal one for a friend" under your card. Each person using a different code spreads the $20s around.

Can you tell me when someone signs up with my code?

No. The monster never learns who signs up: it only counts how many times your code was dealt, copied or taken to Cape's sign-up page. Cape's app shows your real referrals.

Is cape.monster part of Cape?

No. cape.monster is a free, fan-made pool, not affiliated with, endorsed by or run by Cape. There are no accounts, no ads and no trackers. The nerd stats are plain running totals, nothing about who did what. To stop floods and repeat votes we keep a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address, never the address itself.

Prices and rules from Cape's own pages, cape.co/referrals, cape.co/faqs, cape.co/get-cape, cape.co/contract-buyout and cape.co/cape-and-proton, checked October 18, 2026. cape.monster is a free, fan-made site, not affiliated with Cape.

The rules

How the line works

  1. Get in line once. Feed the monster your code. It waits its turn, gets handed out again and again, never expires.
  2. Fair turns. Each time the line goes around, every code in it gets one turn, in a secret order nobody can game.
  3. Dead codes get dropped. If enough people who got a code report it doesn't work, on lots of networks, it sits out a week. Twice, and it's dropped.
  4. No mass knock-outs. A secret anti-cheat formula decides when reports add up; a pile of VPNs counts as one. At most one a day can go.
  5. Used-up codes step aside. After lots of copies or trips to Cape by real people, it steps aside until it's fed in again.
